So hello! I'm home from my first biosoc meeting! (OH MAN haha). How exciting was that? It was actually quite scary! Some ppl are super nice :). Some are eh. Just like how I felt being a gr 10 rep in MC so long ago! But the cool thing is.. We're considered exec! AND WE GET FREE SWEATERS (LOL perk?) :). Uhm. But they're nuts! They're already running 3 events (omgosh) and the president totally has it together haha. We have to run office hours and man I think it's going to get busy. But I'll get the hang of it :). (i think .. I hope I don't freak out and break down again ah...) Anyway :)
I left so soon because there was a mentorship program thing going on. I thought I was assigned it, but I wasn't! And I was super confused... long story short, I'll get my mentor later. Super excited to get one though :) yay. Maybe i'll sign up to be one next year :)
I'm also just a tad nervous cause... well there's going to be a lot of drinking events lol. We'll see. #totallysheltered
